Cargavo is a transport management system (TMS) built for freight brokers and transport commissionaires. It centralizes your carrier rate grids, applies your margins automatically, and produces accurate buy and sell prices in seconds — plus a customer portal where your customers can quote and book themselves, white-labelled on the Scale plan.
How does the free trial work?
Every plan includes a 14-day free trial with full access to the plan’s features. No credit card is required to start, and you can cancel at any time during the trial without being charged.
Can I reuse my existing carrier tariffs?
Yes. Cargavo supports the four grid models used across road freight — weight-zone, per-pallet, linear-meter brackets and hybrid grids. You rebuild the tariff your carrier already sent you in a structured grid builder: pick the model, declare the zones and brackets, enter the cells once. There is no file to feed the software, and no carrier API or EDI to wait for. From the Growth plan, the Cargavo team does that set-up for you.
Will my customers see my buy prices or margins?
Never. Buy prices, margins and carrier tariffs are strictly separated from the customer portal by design. Your customers only ever see the sell prices you configure.
Which countries and currencies does Cargavo support?
Cargavo works worldwide. The interface is available in English, French, Spanish and German on every plan. Multi-currency pricing — EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, CAD, MAD and PLN, each rate grid carrying its own currency — is included from the Growth plan.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Each organization’s data is strictly isolated in a multi-tenant architecture with server-side access control, hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. Prices and margins are computed server-side and are never exposed to unauthorized users.
How do I digitize my freight quote requests?
You digitize freight quote requests by giving your customers a portal that captures the request in a structured form and prices it against your own carrier rate grids, instead of an email thread a human has to read. In Cargavo, requests arriving through your customer portal either get an instant price from one of your rate grids, or — when no grid covers the lane — become a manual quote request that follows the same quote, booking and email flow. Every accepted quote (Q-YYYY-NNNN) becomes a tracked shipment (S-YYYY-NNNN).
How do I turn my Excel rate sheets into instant quotes?
You rebuild each carrier tariff as a structured rate grid so a pricing engine applies taxable weight, rounding, fuel surcharge and margin rules automatically. Cargavo covers the four road-freight tariff models — weight_zone (zones × weight brackets), pallet (price per pallet count × zone), mpl_bracket (linear-metre/LDM brackets × zone) and hybrid_weight (a flat rate below a threshold, a per-unit rate above it) — starting from the Excel or CSV sheet the carrier already emails you, which you re-enter once in the grid builder. No carrier API or EDI connection is required.
Do I need an API or EDI connection to add a carrier?
No. A carrier is added by rebuilding its existing rate sheet as a structured grid, which is why regional and niche carriers with no IT department can be quoted alongside the large networks. Cargavo does not connect to carrier APIs or EDI links at all — the rate grid you already negotiated is the integration.
Is Cargavo affordable for a small brokerage?
Cargavo is priced for brokerages of roughly 2 to 25 people: Starter €49/month, Growth €149/month and Scale €399/month, with annual billing worth about two months free. Plans differ by team size, number of customers, quotes per month and number of rate grids, so a two-person brokerage does not pay for enterprise seats it will never use.
What is Cargavo not?
Cargavo is not a load board, a freight exchange, a carrier-network marketplace, a tendering or procurement platform, or a fleet and dispatch system. It is a transport management system for freight brokers and transport commissionaires: rate grids in, buy and sell prices out, with a customer portal on top.
